Small Sanctuaries founder Garrett Long discovered early on in her career that it was a pleasure to create "home" wherever she was. As a Navy kid accustomed to moving every 3 years, Garreett learned from her mother, who had a marvelous gift of making each new home as beautiful as the last... Home was where the heart was and her taste was impeccable.  As a Broadway and touring actress, Garrett spent many early years on the road, turning each new home into a place of comfort with simple finds, such as repurposed soda bottles (insert picture).

Building Garrett's home in NYC was the genesis of Small Sanctuaries, as friends began to request Garrett's assistance with their homes.  One home led to the next and the next, until a dear friend said it's time to turn this into your life's work!  And  so it was.  Small Sanctuaries was created and thrives today.  Now, Garrett enjoys the personal relationships her team makes with each client, while Small Sanctuaries has made a name for itself by providing expert personalized home organization and re-design services for private homes across New York and, thanks to the magic of the internet, across the world.  Garrett is especially proud that Small Sanctuaries offers the best possible service for the home of your dreams.
